Work with me
Individual Therapy
A friend once showed her daughter the way to school. Later, she found a shorter, safer route and showed her that instead. Yet weeks later, her daughter was still taking the old way.
We often do something similar. We continue along familiar paths, even when they are painful, long after another way has become possible.
Psychoanalytic therapy offers a space to explore what lies beneath our experiences and to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves. But understanding is only the beginning. The deeper work is bringing this understanding into our lives — changing how we relate to ourselves and others, and opening new possibilities for how we live.
Who this is for
People come to individual therapy with anxiety, relationship difficulties, loneliness, loss, migration experience, or professional uncertainty. Some feel stuck in the same story repeating itself with different people. Others have built a life that looks fine from the outside, but no longer feels entirely their own. Some simply want to understand themselves more deeply, even without a specific crisis.

How it works
Psychoanalytic therapy is a space where you can speak freely and begin to notice the feelings, conflicts and recurring patterns that may be difficult to recognise on your own.
Rather than offering quick advice or a fixed formula, we explore what is happening beneath the immediate difficulty and how your past and present experiences may be connected. Over time, this can open up new ways of understanding yourself, relating to others and making choices.
Sessions last 50 minutes and take place online or in person in Barcelona. We usually meet at least once a week, although the frequency can be discussed together.
The first session
We talk about what brought you here, and I ask questions to understand your situation more fully. It's also a chance for you to see whether this way of working feels right for you. You don't need a clear explanation before you arrive — sometimes the work begins with just a feeling that something needs to change.
